We are Headquartered in Heber, Utah, and specialize in utility equipment and vehicle repairs.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and participate in E-Verify.About this RoleUtility Fleet Services:Your first assignment would be in New Mexico.What You'll DoRepair and replace damaged or worn parts.Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges.What You'll BringWillingness to travel nationwide2-5 years of unsupervised heavy equipment mechanic experience (we will consider applicants without experience if they have some type of formal training)Fabrication and welding experience preferredAbility to work long hours and move/lift at least 50 lbs.Valid Class A Commercial Driver LicenseCompliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations.Valid DOT Medical CertificationHeavy equipment mechanic certification preferredPass pre-employment and other drug screening requirementsUFS_HPEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.We prohibit all types of discrimination and are committed to providing access and equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
