Phoenix Semiconductor Corporation, an industry-leading business is seeking an experienced Hardware/Firmware Engineer/Architect to develop drop-in, replacement semiconductor solutions for DMS components that support Government and commercial applications. We are seeking to hire a mid to senior level engineering professional with expertise and experience in hardware/firmware engineering and architecture. Candidate will have responsibility for leading edge design and development of semi-conductor products.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and deliver production quality hardware. - - - -
• Complete fabrication artifacts for use by external fabrication houses - - - -
• Design and deliver production quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept up to production. - - - -
• Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) test system level requirements into FPGA requirements. - - - -
• Design and code in Verilog/VHDL for reliability and maintainability. - - - -
• Verify designs utilizing self-checking techniques with directed and constrained random tests, while tracking functional and code coverage - - - -
• Experience with integration and debug of FPGA/ASIC devices - - - -
• Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, and user's guides. - - - -
• Understand requirements and produce solutions. - - - -
• Collaborate with end-users to garner product feedback and new functionality requirements. - - - -
