Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer (T3) to join our Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will help design, deploy, and manage robust and scalable infrastructure solutions to support SAP products and services across multiple cloud providers. This position emphasizes an automation-first approach, and you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create provider-agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, ensuring resilience, performance, and compliance for clients spanning government and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Modify and run Terraform scripts from an existing codebase to deploy infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Troubleshoot errors during infrastructure deployment using Terraform and debug effectively.
Run, modify, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks to manage infrastructure and application configurations.
Use GitLab repositories to manage IaC, review code, and create merge requests for infrastructure changes.
Configure and deploy containerized services using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Analyze network traffic and connectivity issues between customer environments and hosted services.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to systems, networks, and operational procedures.
Develop SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical bulletins for infrastructure support.
Implement monitoring, logging, and configuration management solutions across multi-tenant, multi-cloud infrastructure.
Leverage generative AI tools to enhance DevOps workflows, increase speed and accuracy, and improve security practices.
Operate with a security-first mindset, ensuring all solutions align with compliance and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

5-8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Hands-on experience with:
Python, Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, Vault, Identity Management
Unix/Linux OS - configuration, deployment, troubleshooting
Networking fundamentals - TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting, SDN

Proficient with cloud infrastructure services from:
AWS: EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, VPC
Azure: VNets, Application Gateway, Storage Accounts, VMs, Load Balancers
GCP: Projects, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC

Strong understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) provisioning and security principles
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, especially using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or Concourse
Experience with log processing, monitoring, and observability tools
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira for ITSM and Agile workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cloud, multi-tenant environment
Passion for automation-first, cloud-native practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on scalability and performance
