Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective industrial engineering practices and knowledge development for process operations.
  
• Support smooth production ramp-up and coordinate escalation processes as necessary.
  
• Provide innovative leadership by evaluating new technologies and conducting experiments to optimize processes.
  
• Lead structured problem-solving initiatives for SMT manufacturing lines.
  
• Drive competency management and team development, including providing training and mentoring.
  
• Coordinate workforce planning and ensure the achievement of team performance objectives.
  
• Motivate and develop industrial engineering teams to optimize processes and technologies.
  
• Participate in regular and ad-hoc industrial engineering reviews at various organizational levels.
  
• Coordinate budget and forecast updates, providing relevant industrial engineering information.
  
• Support production by solving non-standard situations and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Coordinate new equipment acquisitions and provide data for internal processes.
  
• Report and align with cooperating departments such as production, quality, R&D, and operations management.
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  

  • Minimum BS Engineering Degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.
    
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in production and/or automotive business
    
  • Excellent knowledge of high-volume automated manufacturing processes, production testing and cost consciousness is required. Experience in SMT Manufacturing processes preferred.
    
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cooperation with project management
    
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with team leading (leadership in general)
    
  • Desire to Continuously Improve
    
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, organized and have excellent communication skills
    
  • Ability to be an active coach to manufacturing personnel
    
  • Ability to travel 10%
