Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be
responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting
nursing care for assigned patients. You will assess patients upon
admission to the emergency center, and provide comprehensive
nursing care for patients.* You will assess patients to determine
complaint and severity of illness* You will perform and document
patient assessments* You will appraise and document patient and
family educational and psychosocial needs and make appropriate
referrals* You will report changes in patient condition to
supervisor and physician* You will administer and document

RequirementsExperience* 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department* Experience as a
Patient Care Technician in an acute care setting OR capstone
rotation in St. David's Healthcare facilities - preferredEducation*
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred*Associates Degree in
Nursing (ADN) from accredited Nursing program* Current enrollment
in Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
programLicenses and Certifications* Current State of Texas
Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing
License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within
90 days of hire* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St.
