  • Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery
  • 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service
  • Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
    • Registered Nurse Texas license
    • Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
    • Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
    • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
      • Additional Details
      • BLS must be from AHA
      • ACLS must be from AHA
      • Nursing only: Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs
      • License/Certificate Verification required
      • S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
      • Pre-hire requirements need to be fulfilled
      • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics training required
      • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required
      • Exemptions for vaccines not accepted in certain areas
      • Fit Test required annually for all disciplines
      • Annual Influenza Vaccine required, no exemptions/declinations accepted during flu season
      • Health Statement or completed physical exam required prior to first assignment and updated annually
