  • 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service
  • BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse Texas license
  • Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
    • Additional Details
    • Credentials must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).
    • Licensure must be verified through NURSYS for most states, and LARA for Michigan hospitals.
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days before start of assignment.
    • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, and OSHA Topics requirements.
    • Ascension-specific credentialing will be required and provided.
