An experienced Texas Psychiatrist is sought for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch care to adult patients while enjoying a flexible schedule.

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Adult Psychiatry
• Shift Days: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
• Call: NO Call RequirementsResponsibilities include:
  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment to adult patients.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participating in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
  • Prescribing medications and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Engaging with patients and their families to provide education and support.Candidate requirements include:
    • A valid Texas Medical License.
    • Board Certification in Psychiatry.
    • At least 2 years of experience in clinical psychiatry, with a focus on adult patients.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
