Job Description:

USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio seeks a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Nurse Supervisor to oversee the operations of its PSU, ICU, and Emergency Room departments.The Inpatient Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of PSU operations, including staffing, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participating in the facility's Quality Council to drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.
• Collaborating with the Director of Clinical Services to meet unit/department goals and objectives.
• Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
• Current Texas RN License
• Minimum two years' experience in Medical/Surgical or ICU nursing
• Minimum two years' experience in management or supervisory positionPreferred Qualifications:
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 5 months of hire date
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
