Job Description:

Summary: Replenish bakery, coffee, and juice products, maintain inventory control, and participate in regional purchasing and promotions. Monitors inventory, assists in organizing displays, and maintains OTS standards. Ensure a positive company image, provide courteous service, and perform duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
* Replenish products through proper buying procedures.
* Monitor and act upon open PO reports.
* Request and ensure proper signage.
* Control spoilage/shrink, achieve turn goals, and participate in inventory.
* Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
* Ensure timely and accurate orders for product.
* Maintain positive working relationship with vendors.
* Oversee customer special order procedure.
* Analyze and control product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
* Support leadership in conducting inventories.
* Maintain financial profitability.
* Arrive on time, work all scheduled shifts, and attend required trainings.
* Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques.
* Maximize sales potential through effective procedures.
* Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures and safe work practices.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.
* Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
* Report safety hazards and violations.
Job Skills:
* Comprehensive knowledge of bakery, coffee, and juice products.
* Working knowledge of merchandising expectations.
* Ability to educate team on product knowledge.
* Strong basic math skills.
* Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
* Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner.
* Ability to meet customer service expectations.
* Ability to follow directions and procedures.

Experience:
* 12+ months retail experience.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
* Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
* Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
* Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
* Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
* Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, and other heavy machinery.
* May require use of ladders.
