Job Description:

Assists with scheduling and supervision of Team Members and day-to-day department flow. Oversees and maintains bakery, coffee, and juice displays. Supports Bakery Team Leader and Associate Team Leader to ensure smooth operation. Provides positive company image with courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
• Trains Team Members in a high-performance team with minimal turnover.
• Assists in training new Team Members.
• Maintains clean and well-stocked shelves.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves retail execution standards.
• Fosters a positive team environment.
• Maintains customer awareness and directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Selects, trains, and develops Team Members.
• Provides performance evaluations.
• Communicates WFM vision and goals.

    Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • 12+ months retail experience.
      Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Lift 50 pounds.
      • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
      • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
      • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
      • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
      • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives and heavy machinery.
