Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Engineering Travel Percentage : 10 - 15%Job DescriptionAbout the Role:The React Tech Lead will play a critical role in delivering innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions business by taking charge of the technical direction and execution of our web banking application.---- You will be responsible for technical oversight of a team of engineers, and performing code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision will drive the success of our digital projects and contribute to the overall growth of our company.--What you will be doing:

• Lead the delivery of web applications within the Digital domain, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement scalable, robust, and maintainable architectures that support a wide range of financial services and functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers to ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FinTech sector, and incorporate them into the application architecture as needed.
• Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks, and APIs for integration into web applications, considering factors such as security, performance, and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement / delivery initiatives in application development processes, tooling, and automation to enhance efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.
• Act as a technical mentor and coach to developers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence within the web development team.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and technical decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, business stakeholders and external partners.What you will need:
  • Extensive experience in developing and architecting web applications, particularly within the financial technology (FinTech) domain.
  • Strong proficiency in web development frameworks and technologies such as React and Angular.
  • Deep understanding of web application architecture patterns (e.g., MACH, Client/Server/Static Rendering, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience in transitioning a codebase from Angular to React would be a huge positive.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, encryption algorithms, and data protection mechanisms relevant to handling sensitive financial data in applications.
  • Scale the application to handle a large user base, considering various devices and network conditions.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies, APIs, and microservices architecture, enabling seamless integration between web apps and backend systems.
  • Experience in performance optimization, scalability, and troubleshooting of web applications to ensure optimal user experience, reliability and responsiveness.
  • Understanding of financial services industry regulations, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), and security standards related to app development.
  • Knowledge of financial products, payment systems, banking protocols, and industry trends, enabling the design of applications that meet user needs and regulatory guidelines.
  • --Experience working on FinTech projects such as banking apps, investment platforms, payment gateways, or financial analytics tools, with a focus on usability, security, and innovation.
  • Ability to mentor and coach development teams, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and training on application architecture best practices.
  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar relevant field
  • Experience leading and collaborating with India-based development teams
  • Deep understanding and commitment to software engineering principles and processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, DevOps) and continuous improvement through measurement.Nice to have:

The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
