Color, Material and Finish Engineering Technologist

Engineering Technologist on our Experience Design Team in Austin
Texas .
In this role you are part of a global interdisciplinary design and
technology organization where you will be collaborating with
teammates, product engineering, marketing, corporate sustainability
and other critical stakeholders. The primary focus of this role is
to develop data driven strategies and decision making guiding our
technology roadmaps. Come help us make a difference driving
solutions which enhancing the design of our products, the
possibilities are endless.
Influence ID/CMF decisions during early product concept phase at a
material and part design level. Develop and own technology roadmap
for metal forming incubations for materials such as Aluminum,
magnesium and steel for 3-4 yrs out enabling design objectives.
Define production requirements and specifications for formed metal
and machined parts.
15+ yrs experience, plus a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy or related field.
- Knowledgeable in CNC machining process, with experience designing
parts and creating machine toolpaths
