What You Will Do:Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis:
- Assist with the plants' monthly closing cycle by performing
various month-end reviews and analyses, ensuring financial
information is recorded appropriately, and providing financial
commentary related to plant performance.
- Support the timely preparation of periodic and ad-hoc
management reporting for various stakeholders, including plant
directors, business and division management, Corporate
Finance,.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for
decision-making.
- Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make
recommendations for improvements.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making
comparative analyses.Finance Business Partnership & Operational
Support:
- Analyze and review the profitability of our products,
partnering with Operations to understand our product portfolio and
return on investment.
- Engage with internal customers, develop strong relationships
with the Operations team to better understand and anticipate needs,
and support the plants by assisting with various financial analyses
and supporting ad hoc financial projects for plant operations.
- Work with operations to establish KPIs and assist in reporting
KPIs.
- Analyze expenses and KPIs to identify underlying business
issues and provide input for operational decisions.
- Continuously look to identify, challenge, recommend, and
support process improvements, standardization, automation, and
optimization.
- Provide continuous finance training (e.g., financial metrics,
decision-making framework) to the plant operations teams.Who You
Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a
Business related field.
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or
financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, organize, and
self-monitor workload.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills,
demonstrating the ability to express ideas and exchange information
clearly and concisely across functions and levels within the
organization.What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience working with SAP, OneStream, or other large ERP
systems.
- Advanced MS Excel capability (e.g., Pivot Tables, V & H
Lookups, creating charts and tables, data modeling, financial
returns, forecasting, graphs, charts, macros).
- Familiarity with business/data analysis and data visualization
tools (e.g. Python, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL).
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize work in a dynamic
environment, embrace and lead change, and seek to improve
