**Job Description Summary:** Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients, process patient prescription needs, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.

Participant Service Representative - Insurance Verification

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Verify insurance coverage for potential new clients and re-verify coverage for existing patients to process patient prescription needs successfully
* Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services to patients and referral sources
* Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork, verifying insurance, and completing necessary paperwork
* Coordinate the delivery, set-up, and pick-up of equipment, supplies, and services with appropriate personnel
* Maintain accurate files of patient account profile information and referral source data
* Resolve patient complaints by identifying problems and coordinating corrective action

* Basic knowledge of insurance concepts, including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage
* Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and instructions

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
* 1 year of experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel in a work setting
* Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
