Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic
Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa. As a key
member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for
performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures, utilizing
state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality patient
care.Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiographic and
fluoroscopic imaging, utilizing proper technique and providing
clear instructions to patients.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential
contraindications.
- Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory
requirements.
- Interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers,
prioritizing procedures to maintain continuity of care.
- Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage
and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and
fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing equipment to pinpoint anatomical
locations.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with
Infection Control standards.
- Accurately code and enter charges for procedures.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to
accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual,
age-specific, and other developmental needs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health
Care's Core values.Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or
equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists required.
- Current state licensure required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
