Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality patient care.Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, utilizing proper technique and providing clear instructions to patients.
• Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
• Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers, prioritizing procedures to maintain continuity of care.
• Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards.
• Accurately code and enter charges for procedures.
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health Care's Core values.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.Work Schedule and TypeVaries, Full Time.
